Fancy having fresh caught crab for dinner? Then why not rent a crab trap to drop the next time you rent a boat.
Just minutes after leaving our boat rental dock you will be at some great crabbing spots where you can catch some huge crabs like Dungeness and Red Rock crab.
Crabbing is really popular with our renters, both children and adults love the thrill of dropping a trap at the start of their boat rental adventure and coming back later pulling up the trap to see what you have caught. We recommend letting your crab trap sit for a minimum of 2 hours or leave it longer if you are renting for the day.
With crab being so expensive to buy, it is a great treat to catch your own crab and cook it at home with the help of friends and family. Everyone loves the excitement of learning how to cook the crab and take it apart, it will be the one dinner everyone wants to help with.
Crab is easy to cook. Just boil up some water, drop in the crab for 10-15 minutes until they turn red and you are ready to crack them open and eat. Feeling more adventurous, there are some other great cooking methods and recipes online.
